Cape Floral Kingdom | Travel & Tourism

The Cape Floristic region is widely known as the Cape Floral Kingdom and is the smallest of the six kingdoms.

Located near the southern tip of South Africa, it is the only kingdom that falls entirely within the borders of one country.

Within an area of just over 90 000 square kilometres, more than 9000 known species of flowering fynbos plants exist; 70% of which can only be found in this region alone – making this kingdom one of the most diverse floras in the world.

We made this film for Grootbos Private Nature Reserve.
