“STORYTELLING IS THE MOST POWERFUL WAY TO PUT IDEAS INTO THE WORLD.” – ROBERT MCKEE
Jono studied at AFDA, majoring in scriptwriting, animation and visual effects. After graduating he got his first gig as an editor for ZANEWS.
He subsequently worked at a local production company as a motion graphic artist and animator, and then headed up the production department at an online marketing company called DROID. After gaining experience in the marketing side of video and online, he moved on to create Wagtale with Tim Gabb.
With Wagtale, he hopes to create stories that evoke emotions in the viewer, hopefully making a real difference in people’s lives.
Tim studied literature and journalism at Rhodes University before undertaking a freelance career as a writer, a photographer, a DOP and an editor.
He has worked on feature documentaries, TV series and online films for a diverse clientele.
In 2015 he co-founded Wagtale with old-time friend and colleague, Jonathan Cornelius.
He is driven by narrative, aesthetics and the power of media to convey emotion and raise consciousness.
Alex studied at The Animation School and CityVaristy, originally working in web development, spending a few years in the design and I.T. industry.
After a life changing experience, he decided to switch focus and pursue his lifelong passion; photography and film. He is driven by a need to tell human stories and capture living moments.
Joining Wagtale late 2017, he hopes to fine-tune and excel at storytelling and filmmaking.
