DOCUMENTARY FILM: A rural Karoo family forge their way into modernity after a lifetime of wandering on the road.
The story is a humane and soft portrait of a family feeling their way into a modern world. It is the story of an old man who, along with his partner and twelve sons, has spent his entire life on the road, in harsh conditions as South Africa's gypsies. As the old man turns 100 years old, he gets his first ever brick house with a flushing toilet. Electricity and hot water are on the way.
